The new army of green packaging

the development of paper mold industry in China has only begun in recent ten years. In 1984, Hunan pulp molding plant invested more than 10 million yuan to introduce a continuous paper mold line from France to produce egg trays. Later, Liaoning, Sichuan, Jiangsu and other places successively introduced paper mold lines from Britain, Denmark and Taiwan. In 1988, Nanjing Light Industry Research Institute and Jiangyin No. 5 machinery factory developed domestic paper mold lines, which were identified by the Ministry of light industry and put into use, and since then began the prelude to the localization of equipment. At present, there are more than 40 state-owned equipment manufacturers in China, including more than 20 fast-food box production lines, with about 10 adopting grouting molding and hot drying processes and 10 adopting adsorption molding, hot air and hot pressing twice drying processes. There are more than 200 enterprises that produce products. At present, there are two types of domestic production equipment: vacuum molding and injection molding. The main characteristics of vacuum are as follows: ① adopting single 5V power supply molding method is the most popular method in China. Injection molding is produced by only a few manufacturers. According to different structures, there are three kinds of vacuum forming methods: drum type, rotary type and reciprocating lifting type. At present, the third device is the most common. It adopts a simple pulping process. The pulp concentration is mixed by duplex up and down adsorption molding, and the products are manually transported and dried in the drying channel. This kind of equipment is characterized by simplicity and less investment, but it has low production efficiency, high energy consumption, high labor intensity and poor adaptability of raw materials. It is generally suitable for small-scale production of leftover materials in paper mills with less impurities. The rotary drum molding machine is represented by the equipment of El company in France. The line has three-stage separation of debris and pulping process. This kind of equipment has a high degree of automation and production efficiency, with an annual production capacity of 3300 tons, and has the advantages of low labor intensity, less energy consumption and stable product quality. China's pulp molded fast food box is a new product developed in recent two years. Its performance requirements are very different from foreign paper lunch boxes. In foreign countries, it is generally pressed by cardboard. It can be said that our paper fast food box has Chinese characteristics. In order to control "white pollution", the Ministry of Railways has formulated the health standards and physical and chemical standards for fast food boxes in the railway system. After more than two years of practice, it has determined to use paper mold lunch boxes instead of foam lunch boxes, and plans to basically achieve this goal on October 1 this year. At present, many electronic products, household appliances, mechanical and electrical products in China use EPS foam as a cushion material. Although EPS has many advantages, it has many disadvantages, such as large volume, difficult recovery, high regeneration cost, and environmental pollution caused by incineration. In recent years, many international conventions and new laws prohibit or reduce the use of EPS. Many internationally renowned electronic manufacturers have used paper molds as substitute products on product packaging cushioning materials. According to statistics, China has formed an annual production capacity of 20million color TVs, of which about 4million are exported. In addition, there are 40million color picture tubes, of which 12.44 million are exported. This year, it plans to produce 1.3 million microcomputers, 2.1 million video recorders, and a large number of washing machines, refrigerators, air conditioners, electric fans and other electronic products. According to the calculation of relevant departments, only color TV sets and picture tubes need to consume about 20000 tons of EPS plastic this year, if converted into a volume of about 1 million cubic meters. At present, it is difficult to make accurate statistics on the annual EPS consumption of all electronic products in China, but it is undoubtedly a shocking figure. Because EPS is mostly disposable, these things cannot be disposed of after consumers buy back goods, and are discarded in garbage cans or roadsides, forming a "spectacular" pollution source, causing serious pollution to the environment. At present, the international community pays more and more attention to environmental protection. Many countries have successively established environmental protection measures in the form of legislation, and promoted the implementation of environmental protection policies from the aspects of policy, technological development, theory, and the cooperation between enterprises and consumers, which exceeds the set maximum force. 2 ~ in the future, with the further promotion of the development line of low-carbon economy, it will automatically shut down at 10% in the future. For example, the regulations on packaging and environmental protection issued by the European Community in 1991 stipulates that polystyrene (EPS) plastics should be avoided in transportation packaging and sales packaging, and pulp molded products should be used instead. China is a signatory to the Montreal Protocol and the Vienna Declaration. The "Declaration" and "Protocol" stipulate that China will achieve the specified goals in 2005. In this regard, China promulgated the fixed waste environmental protection law on April 1st, 1996, which stipulates the three principles, namely, promoting the recycling, reduction and harmlessness of solid waste. The use of pulp molded products instead of polystyrene foamed products reflects the principle of "three modernizations". The State Environmental Protection Administration clearly pointed out that it advocates vigorously developing the pulp molding industry, and relevant ministries and commissions have also taken specific promotion and application measures according to relevant products. At present, people in the industry are talking about green packaging. The meaning of "green" includes two aspects: protecting the ecological environment and recycling resources. In the past, people thought more about the protective properties of packaging, but now people think more about the impact of packaging on the environment and the rational use of resources. At present, the main problem in this field in China is that the application of paper mold for industrial products is relatively lagging behind. According to statistics, the total amount of paper mold products used in China is far lower than that in developed countries. The use of industrial products is pitifully small, accounting for only about% of the total. According to the survey, many enterprises have closed down and changed production because they can't meet the requirements of foreign parties for packaging. However, some enterprises do not know what to do because they do not understand the market and the development trend of paper mold. The lagging application of industrial products is not only an obstacle for China's commodities to go abroad, but also an unfavorable factor for the development of the industry
